Cyber-crime is a criminal activity that is involves using computers and its related devices for fraudulent activities. Cybercrime results in the loss of lives, properties, business investments all over the world. Hence, this study assessed community vigilante and cybercrime control in the selected communities in the Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria. The research design was descriptive, correlational in nature. Data was collected through primary and secondary sources. The study was conducted among the youths, community leaders and traditional leaders. The study was anchored on the broken windows theory. The sample size of 440 was selected from the total population. Findings showed that 281 representing 71.68% of the respondents were males. 111 representing 28.32% of the respondents were females. In the meantime, 86 representing 21.94% of the respondents admitted high prevalence of cybercrime. The study recommends vehicular patrol by the community vigilante to checkmate the prevalence of cybercrime.
