This study analyzes the conduct of 2024 governorship election in Ondo State, Nigeria. Poor turnout of voters during the governorship election, availability of many rejected votes and vote-buying were examined in this study. The study adopts system theory propounded by David Easton, Gabriel Almond and Von Bentallaffy and used the qualitative method of research, relying exclusively on secondary source of data such as textbooks, newspapers, journals and magazines. The data gathered were summarized.

Prolonged physical strain, poor ergonomic conditions, and high workload pressures heighten their vulnerability to MSDs, which can lead to chronic pain, reduced productivity, and compromised quality of life. Despite their critical roles in the education sector, limited research exists on the occupational risks and personal experiences associated with MSDs in this demographic.

The research involves in- depth qualitative interviews with 20 female undergraduates at the University of Benin, aged 18 to 24, from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Though Loan practices offer financial succor to many, some predatory tactics subject users to vulnerabilities. This study investigated loan practices, factors enhancing borrowers’ vulnerability to predatory lending in Ibadan, Oyo State. While George Homans’ Social Exchange Theory provided the framework, the exploratory design was adopted. Ibadan was purposively selected because of the common loan habits of urbanites in the city.
