Childlessness is a common occurrence that negatively affects many homes worldwide. Experts reveal that it has diverse impacts on the married folks; and also seen as a stigma and a public health issue. The study was designed to investigate the psychosocial impact of childlessness on mental health of married couples in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State and was hinged on the conflict theory. A correlational survey design was utilized and a total of 104 respondents selected through simple random sampling were participants in the survey.

The family is undoubtedly the fulcrum on which the society revolves. It is a truism that the extents of well-being of the individual families which constitute the society, forms the yardstick with which the success or failure of the society is measured. It is therefore not rhetoric to state that once the family system collapses, the society concerned is doomed to fail. This is why the upsurge in broken marriages has become of grave concern to well meaning members of the society.

The integration of the world into one huge market has increased market for businesses all over the world. Besides, it has opened the developing economies to attacks from the developed and emerging economies. Small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria have been confronted with an increasingly competitive environment due to globalization and liberalization of trade. This study therefore, seeks to examine the impact of Globalization on the Development of Small and Medium Scale enterprises in Oredo Local Government Area, Benin City.
